1961

Ministerial decree incorporates the “Nuremberg College of Business Studies and Social Sciences” into the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg as the “Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences”.

Start of the innovative voluntary project "WiSo Faculty Marketing"

Extension of buildings in the Lange Gasse, Nuremberg

Introduction of the MBA in Business Management

Renovation of Lecture Hall H3 with the support of GfK Association. Since then this room has been officially known as the GfK Lecture Hall.

2006

In the winter semester of 2006/2007, the Faculty introduces new bachelor’s degree programs in International Business Studies, Business Studies and Social Economics, replacing former “Diplom” degrees.

Introduction of Bachelor’s Degree Programs in Business Studies, Socio-Economics & International Business Studies

2007

On 1st October 2007, the Faculty is renamed into the “School of Business and Economics“ and becomes part of the larger Law School, School of Business and Economics.

2009

Introduction of Master’s Degree Programs in Laber Market & Human Ressources, FACT, International Business Studies, International Information Systems, Management, Marketing, Social-Economics and Business Education
