Data Protection and Technical Support
Any data recorded by the producer of this site is used solely for the purposes of technical support services. No information is shared with third parties.
User Data Record
The University web server is maintained by the 
Web Team based at the Regional Computer Centre in Erlangen.
Each time a webpage or a linked page or object is accessed, the following user information is saved:
- the web address (URL) from which the file is linked
- the name of the file accessed
- the date and time of access
- the volume of data transferred
- the status of the download (file downloaded, file not found, etc.)
- details of the web browser and operating system of the user
- the IP address of the computer from which the data is accessed.
Data is saved solely for technical or statistical purposes; no cross-reference with other data sources is made and no information is shared with third parties.
Once the data has been evaluated, all recorded information is deleted. Data is evaluated monthly and yearly; information is deleted at the latest one year and one month after it was first recorded. Data can be deleted prior to this date at any time if required.
