Nuremberg – a highly popular place to study

In a recent survey of student views on their university town or city conducted by the current affairs magazine FOCUS (48/2007), Nuremberg was ranked third most attractive along with Hamburg. The survey looked at the 55 largest university locations according to the following criteria: number of pubs and bars, cinemas, amount of rooms available in student dormitories, rent prices and the local economy. Nuremberg proved to have the highest number of pubs and bars (per 100 students) and the highest level of monthly student income of all university locations included in the survey.
