  • Theoretical foundations of Business Studies,
  • Business Administration,
  • Economics and
  • Law

In the first semester students attend lectures and take courses in subjects such as:

  • Business simulations,
  • Businesses and entrepreneurs,
  • IT and e-business,
  • companies, markets, economics; and
  • further courses in mathematics and accounting.

Information on all modules and courses can be found in the Module Handbook . In the assessment phase each examination can be retaken only once! Further information can be found in the Examination Regulations .
The lectures given at the beginning of a bachelor’s degree program, whether in Business Administration or IT and e-business, are designed to help students to find their preferred focus of study. This choice must be made at the start of the bachelor’s phase, that is, from the third semester, for students of Business Studies. Support in making this choice is provided by the wiso@dvisor and also the specialist study advisors. Students of IBS decide on an international focus before applying for this course and, therefore, do not need to make any further choices.
