Once you have successfully completed your bachelor’s degree, you have the opportunity to continue your studies with a master’s degree. The School of Business and Economics has a total of nine programs at master’s level to prepare you either for an academic, business or public sector career. All our courses have business, economics and socio-economics as a central focus.

Innovative teaching and learning concepts combine the study of theory and the application of research at the University in work-related contexts. Students spend four semesters dealing in depth with selected aspects of business, economics and social sciences and, on completion, are awarded the qualification, Master of Science (M.Sc.).

What makes a master’s course at the School of Business and Economics special is the global network of over 100 universities. Close cooperation with these institutions in research and teaching allows our students the opportunity to gain invaluable international experience.

Course Structure

The School of Business and Economics master’s degree is a four-semester course beginning only in the winter semester. In the first two semesters, students take the core modules relating to their particular course subject. In the following semesters, students choose from a variety of specialist options. In the fourth semester, students write their master’s thesis. Students who successfully complete the program are awarded the title of Master of Science and are thus ideally qualified to meet the demands of a modern business world or to continue their academic career.
