This modern, internationally oriented master’s degree program in economics allows students both to gain a professional qualification and to prepare for a possible doctoral degree. In the first stage of this program, students take the master’s courses. Graduates with good grades can then progress directly to a second stage of doctoral studies. Intensive supervision is provided as well as an opportunity to spend time conducting research at a university abroad.

In the third semester students also take a seminar to prepare them for the master’s thesis, which is then written during the fourth semester. Teaching is conducted in German and English.
